Five species of Alaska salmon spawn into the Nushagak River: King Salmon (Chinook), Silver Salmon (Coho), Red Salmon (Sockeye), Chum Salmon, and Pink Salmon (Humpies, only on even numbered years). Our superb location enables us to fish the Lower Nushagak River where the peak Salmon Fishing happens.

The Nushagak River Adventures Lodge is located near Dillingham, Alaska in Bristol Bay. We have been operating for nine years on the Nushagak River culminating with the final construction of the new lodge in 2001.
Most of the land on the Nushagak River is owned by the Choggiung LTD Native Corporation. This limits the number of camps and anglers on the Nushagak. Nushagak River Adventures owns private land along the Lower Nushagak River where we are allowed one of the very few real lodges on the river. Choggiung limits their camps to tent camps only and they must be removed each year. We have built our lodge to accommodate up to 30 people but limit the lodge to just 16 people per week.
The lodge has comfortable heated rooms in the main bunkhouse and features hot showers, satellite TV, and satellite internet. Bedrooms in the lodge can accommodate two to four anglers. Our excellent dinners may include King Crab, Halibut, Shrimp, Pork Chops, Steaks, or Chicken so you will eat great every day! We serve a hot breakfast in the morning; lunch can be eaten back at the lodge or without ever leaving the river by taking a bag lunch.
We offer fly fishing or spin fishing at its finest. Fish the Nushagak River for trophy trout or fly out to a remote location for kings, silvers, or sockeye salmon on the fly. We fish multiple pristine remote Alaska rivers all summer.

Dillingham, Alaska is located 350 miles southwest of Anchorage. The village of Dillingham is located at the mouth of Nushagak River which drains into Bristol Bay. Our Lodge is located in the Lower Nushagak River, just upstream of Portage Creek. The Lodge is located a short float plane ride, which is included in your package, from Dillingham.
