As fly fishing guides we want you to share our Chilean experience and enjoy the pleasure of casting a 16 parachute dry fly a foot above a 20" plus trout, watching and waiting for that dramatic second, when there's nothing else but you, the fly and the trout. Southern Exposure is a small company, which allows us to suit all your needs, to the smallest detail. Each trip is a custom trip for us.

Chile, particulary the Coyhaique area, offers an incredible variety of flyfishing waters and landscapes -from small spring creeks in the dry pampas to big rivers in the temperate rain forests. And all of this within 50 miles of Coyhaique. Of course this also provides a great fly fishing diversity, from tiny dry flies to large Chernobyl and Hoppers: From big streamers to small nymphs.
Flyfishing for resident Rainbows and Browns are our main targets, and though we do not focus on Salmon fishing you might incidentally hook a big Silver or a King salmon in some of our waters.
Chile flyfishing season goes from the second Friday in October to the first Sunday in May. I know you want me to tell you which is the best time to come and my answer to that is simple.
