You will enjoy excellent deep sea fishing with our safe, experienced team aboard the 11.6 metre vessel TAKAPU, which provides a comfortable ride to fishing grounds as close as 15 minutes out of South Bay. Blue cod, sea perch, grouper and many other species are caught; NZ rock lobster is pulled up in pots. The famous Kaikoura canyon, mountains, local bird population and sea life provide excellent photographic opportunities. All gear is supplied and the fish is filleted and bagged for you to take home. Bookings essential. Onboard bathroom facilities.
